Journalist GETS PHYSICAL when confronted on camera by Avi Yemini

Watch what happens when a mainstream media reporter is forced to answer for the stories he publishes.

If you caught the front-page business story in The Australian, you will know this saga has already sparked controversy. But let’s be honest, who in 2026 is still reading mainstream print newspapers?

So let me give you a quick overview of what went down. But make sure you watch the video, because this story has many layers and things get heated when the reporter realises he has been caught. And unlike the mainstream press, I can actually show you the footage so you do not have to take my word for it.

A couple of months ago, I received a tip about Aussie battlers potentially being ripped off in what looked like a questionable deal. So I did what journalists are supposed to do and started asking questions.

To my surprise, within days of making those inquiries, The Australian’s David Ross published a hit piece about me.

I was stunned.

I had not even reported anything yet.

Which raised an obvious question. Why was he so determined to shut down my investigation before it had even begun?

The deeper I looked, the stranger things became. While Ross was working overtime trying to smear my reputation, I uncovered disturbing details about the very source he relied on for many of his stories about this company. A source Ross appeared far more interested in protecting than scrutinising.

So last week I decided to confront him directly.

I set a trap for David Ross and arranged a meeting he believed was with someone else connected to the story. Instead, he walked into a camera and my questions about his reporting.

What happened next speaks for itself.

As the pressure mounted and the questions got harder, the encounter turned physical as Ross tried to avoid answering.

And this was not just professional for me. It was personal too.

When Ross realised I was digging into this story, he did what too many mainstream media figures do. Instead of answering questions, he attempted to discredit the messenger by dredging up whatever he could find about me online and inserting it into his reporting.

But here is where things get even stranger.

Within minutes of that confrontation, the same creepy source Ross relies on somehow had my phone number and called me directly.

Yes, really.

Make sure you watch the video until the end so you can hear that bizarre call for yourself.

But here is the difference between real journalism and the kind practiced by reporters like Ross.

I brought cameras and receipts.

So you do not have to rely on spin or anonymous sources. You can watch exactly what happened for yourself.

Watch the full video above and see what happens when a reporter is forced to answer the same questions he usually asks others.
