UPDATE on Anna Slatz in NYC jail: We're sending a fellow Rebel to meet her!
Our reporter Anna Slatz was arrested last night while reporting live from the riots in New York City, despite a curfew exemption for journalists covering the event.
Earlier today, we released an interview with our criminal lawyer Michael Weinstock just before he was set to appear at Anna's arraignment. Unfortunately, the NYPD have not yet processed Anna's paperwork!
As part of our response to free Anna, Rebel News has hired five lawyers and sent our friend Yanky Pollak on a drive south from Montreal to meet Anna after she's released from jail.
