Longtime supporter of Rebel News who has watched the decline of objective journalism in Canada since I can remember but particularly in the last 10 years.
When I look back now, I believed in the electoral process as well as the effectiveness of petitions and protests. Labor unions had power and local MPs seemed to respect their constituents. Police were not perfect but I did not fear them as I do now. The internet was a positive force that kept power in check but that is now in jeopardy. Main stream media while unwatchable is propped up by the state for their survival. Alternative media has been the bright spot in a world hell bent on Global control but is now under attack by Politicians in power and corporate elites. We are at war. Alternative unsponsored media must survive if we are to have any hope.
