HIDDEN DANGER: What does Chrystia Freeland mean by a 'rules-based international order'?
Have you ever heard her say that phrase, rules-based international order? She says it a lot — and I’ve heard it more than ever in the past week, about Ukraine.
Tonight on The Ezra Levant Show, I’m going to talk about the U.S. tariffs on Canada, and what I think is the best way to fight back.
But right there is a problem: fighting back against President Donald Trump and the world’s most powerful economy might not work out well for Canada. Especially given the personal vitriol that Mark Carney and Chrystia Freeland are directing at Trump.
There’s an old saying that I try to follow in life (though it’s sometimes hard): Don’t get mad. Don’t get even. Get ahead. I think Canada’s Liberals — and others like Doug Ford — are at the “get mad” or “get even” stage.
It feels good for a politician to rail against a foe, especially one as controversial as Trump. But is it actually getting Canada ahead? I’ll give you my thoughts on how to respond — tune in at 8 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. MT by clicking here.
If you’re not a subscriber to my daily show, you really should be (if I do say so myself!) It’s on a special service we call Rebel News Plus. I have a show every weeknight, and Sheila Gunn Reid has a weekly show, and we put other special videos on Rebel News Plus, too. It’s just $8/month, or $88 for the whole year.
I’d like to give you a sample of what I do — here’s my monologue from yesterday, where I do a bit of a deep dive into what Chrystia Freeland calls a “rules-based international order.”
Have you ever heard her say that phrase, rules-based international order? She says it a lot — and I’ve heard it more than ever in the past week, about Ukraine. So what does it actually mean? Watch the video to see my in-depth analysis of the question.
I’ll show you her saying that phrase everywhere from the World Economic Forum to her trade negotiations with Trump the last time around. I’ve come to the conclusion that “rules-based international order” is just code for imposing socialism on the West, especially on the U.S.
If you think that’s an interesting video, please consider subscribing. Not all of my monologues are 35 minutes long (they’re usually about 15 or 20 minutes), and then I have a guest interview and read viewers' mail.
In this crazy world where most of the “regime media” are just left-wing propagandists, you need to hear the other side of the story. And that’s what we do every evening on The Ezra Levant Show. And if you click here now, you can get a one week free trial. Sign up now — so you can watch my show on tariffs tonight!
Most of our videos on Rebel News are free for the whole world to watch. But every night I do a special show for subscribers only, on Rebel News Plus. If you like the sample video about Chrystia Freeland’s “rules-based international order”, then click here to subscribe.

I think the NATO pipsqueaks don’t realize that they cannot maintain it themselves without the US. -

Not a peep about the Soviets or the Chinese. To them, Uncle Sam was the bad guy and he would be the only one to start WW III.
This “rules-based” malarkey is just another way of hog-tying the U. S. -

What we need is strong leadership from strong people who care about us. Twitchy Freeland and her socialist lunatics must be driven back to the asylum they escaped from.
