Infiltration near Gaza border forces Rebel News reporter to seek safety

Avi Yemini was near the Gaza-Israel border Tuesday night when sirens alerted that a "group of terrorists" had made an incursion into Israel approximately 500 metres from his location.

"We only have about 20 metres of visibility," said a member of Avi's team, before the group left for safety in their car. "They [terrorists] could pop out anywhere."

According to Yemini, the police told him the infiltration was near Zakim, the location of a Hamas attack on a military base during the initial Hamas attacks on Israel on October 7, which left over 1300 Israelis dead and another 220 kidnapped into Gaza.
