But it’s for the kids! Ontario’s high school teachers took part in another one-day strike (a 1% raise is apparently not good enough for them.)
But given their high salaries, lofty benefits, and gold-plated pension plans — and the fact that Ontario’s debt-load is $350 billion — is there any public sympathy for the teachers' unions?
