Channel nine and seven both reported "hundreds of protesters" attended the lockdown rally in Melbourne yesterday.

The problem is, thousands attended.

Facts matter, especially when you call yourself a 'journalist'.

Cassie Zervos from Channel Seven later complained about protesters interrupting her live cross by chanting "tell the truth".

Cassie's friend Lana Murphy from Channel Nine then retweeted her whinge after also lying about the numbers.

The mainstream media often inflate numbers for causes they support and minimise numbers for others in a bid to prop up their personal views.

Unfortunately for them, I was there the entire time.
