Pastors praise Charlie Kirk's legacy at TPUSA founder's memorial
Angelica Toy hears from pastors at Charlie Kirk's memorial in Arizona, where the faith leaders praised the Turning Point USA founder's efforts to spread the gospel.
Thousands of supporters gathered to remember the legacy of Charlie Kirk in Glendale, Arizona, last weekend. Among those who came out to honour the Turning Point USA founder were pastors and faith leaders from across the country, who said now is the moment for the church to rise up.
They say that Kirk's bold and fearless leadership has inspired them to come forward, speak the truth and equip the next generation with what they need to succeed in life.
The large memorial, which featured speeches from President Donald Trump and Vice-President JD Vance, along with Kirk's wife, Erika, was not just about remembering the man — but his call to action to ignite the church.
“They may have killed one messenger, but now there's a million messengers that have been encouraged,” pastor Andrew Wommack told Rebel News.
“When you martyr a man, you not just immortalize him,” said pastor Joshua Feurstein, “but now you turn him into a movement. And that's exactly what you're witnessing right now,” he continued, calling Kirk “the best example in America” of bringing people together.
