Peter MacKay's logo design stolen? Erin O'Toole joins the Conservative Party leadership race
Following suits with the Canadian Energy Center, Peter MacKay's campaign is being dogged with allegations that their logo was lifted from an Albertan finance blog, Maple Money.
Tom Drake, the owner of Maple Money is concerned that if Peter MacKay's bid is successful, people will begin to think that his logo was the original, and that Maple Money stole it.
Both Maple Money and MacKay's logo feature three M's in the shape of a maple leaf, along with the exact same sans serif font, although MacKay's version is slightly less bolded.
When asked questions about the origins of their logo, McKay's campaign didn't respond.
