Rob Stocki is a retired veteran of the Ottawa Police Service who has participated in various freedom rallies at Parliament Hill throughout the pandemic.

Recently, he received a letter from the Attorney General of Ontario (AGO), which informed him that he had been a subject of wiretapping — for absolutely no reason.

What's worse, Rob is not the only officer who has been the subject of this kind of draconian surveillance. Other retired cops also claim to have received similar letters from the AGO.

Legally, law enforcement must get permission from a judge to get a wiretap, and those involved are often terrorists or serious criminals, not freedom-loving peaceful protesters.
