Protesters outside Conservative convention: Screaming socialists, union bullies — and one llama costume
Unionists and socialists and communists – oh, my!
At the recent Ontario Progressive Conservative convention in Niagara Falls, one did not have to visit that boulevard of tourism tackiness known as Clifton Hill in order to experience a biosphere of the bizarre and the horrific. Not when a few thousand public sector unionists (as well as their allies in the socialist and communist movements) congregated outside the Scotiabank Convention Centre to send a message to the Doug Ford PCs. We’re not exactly sure what that message was though, given that various placards not only denounced Premier Ford and various PC MPPs but capitalism itself (this was, alas, a crowd that veered left of Bernie Sanders...)
Nevertheless, Rebel News waded into the eye of this progressive hurricane to try and make sense of it all (something that was somewhat hard to achieve given that so many protesters lacked the ability to actually articulate their points.) In the meantime, we are left to ponder if the average Ontarian is overjoyed to learn, yet again, that his or her tax dollars are actually funding most of these zealots -- and funding them very well if the province's $350+ billion debt-load is any indication…
