Boris Johnson wins and Andrew Scheer resigns: What should Conservatives learn?
Two Conservative parties with two opposite results — Boris Johnson wins a strong majority in the UK, while Andrew Scheer limps back to obscurity here in Canada.
Boris Johnson's win was both a vote to support Get Brexit Done, and it was also a rejection of the hardcore socialist Labour Party headed by antisemite Jeremy Corbyn.
Then there's Scheer, who didn't appear to stand up for anything, or stand against anything that matters to Canadians.
In tonight's show, we'll go over the personalities, priorities and media portrayal of Johnson, Corbyn and Scheer.
NEXT: To talk more about Andrew Scheer and the Conservative Party, Manny Montenegrino joins me from Ottawa.
