UN's Climate Action Summit (still) rejecting Rebel after Canadian interference

Rebel News was blocked from reporting from the United Nations Climate Action Summit happening now in New York.

My colleague Keean Bexte has been credentialed to work at the White House and Capitol Hill in Washington. His work has been featured on Fox News. I’ve written 3 best-selling books, and have reported from Israel (twice), Poland, Germany, England, Morocco, and all over Canada. I’ve also fought a battle for press freedom against Rachel Notley’s NDP government in Alberta and won.

However, the UN denied media credentials for me and Keean quite literally without explanation — the UN left the part of the form letter where an explanation would be for their denial of my credentials just completely blank.

The refusal emails came a day and a half after the conference already began, on a Sunday Afternoon.

Mine read:

“Your media accreditation request, with reference no: M77954093 has been declined for the following reason: ”

...and nothing. No reason.

Today, I’ll show you my terse, but polite email back to the UN reminding the organization of their own commitment to free speech and I’ll show you my evidence placing the blame for this censorship squarely on the Liberal government.

If the Liberals and the UN think this is going to stop us from holding them both to account, then they haven’t been paying attention.
