America divided: Who is Trump fighting for?

Tune in tonight at 6:30pm ET to watch our LIVE election night coverage at Rebel News HQ!

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, we looked at political division heading into the American election.

Here's a bit of what Ezra had to say:

America has had crises since the Civil War; whether to get involved in the Second World War, for example. Isolationists won the argument for two years after Hitler attacked the world. That ended when Germany’s ally, Japan, attacked Pearl Harbor. It was a disaster and a calamity, but it unified America — after Pearl Harbor, every American was fused together in a sense of shared national purpose.

The Cold War that followed was a test for America, too, but again there was a general agreement between Republicans and Democrats about foreign policy. It was John F. Kennedy who contained Cuba and actually backed an attempt to invade it. Democrats love fighting wars — probably a little bit too much.

My point is that disagreements between Republican politicians and Democrat politicians, and their voters bases, have been reasonable and incremental. But that’s come apart.

This is an excerpt from the full Ezra Levant Show.
