“There is no safety in Iran with that regime”: Candlelight vigil for plane crash victims in Toronto
The candlelight vigil at Toronto’s Mel Lastman Square for the 176 persons who perished in Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 in Iran was respectful and remorseful.
As such, it was a completely different experience from the candlelight vigil last Saturday in Toronto held near the U.S. Consulate. That vigil was for Iranian general Qasem Soleimani, and it turned out to be nothing more than a hate-fest attended primarily by those who love the Islamist regime in Tehran while despising western values.
