Crown reduces charges against Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich
Amid an enduring trial, Tamara Lich successfully has a breach of bail charge dropped while she perseveres in her fight for freedom.

The Crown has just reduced some of the criminal charges faced by Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich as she works to vindicate herself from remaining allegations against her.

Back in June 2022, Lich was re-arrested… pic.twitter.com/mcpKgEsM7N
Lich was previously accused of being in violation of her bail charges, in a shocking accusation after she was photographed alongside fellow convoy participant Tom Marazzo.
Lich was picked on an unheard-of Canada-wide warrant FOR AN ALLEGED MINOR BREACH for a photo with Tom Marazzo. Her conditions state she can communicate with other organizers when in the presence of her lawyers. The photo was taken at an event HOSTED BY HER LAWYERS FROM THE JCCF

This change saw Lich’s bail revoked before she was subsequently arrested. Lich then served time for this alleged breach in pretrial custody.
In court this morning for the decision of Judge Andrew Goodman on Tamara Lich's bail review. He will rule if the Justice of the Peace Paul Harris erred when he ordered Lich stripped of her bail and sent back to jail at the end of June. Today marks her 49th day in jail (all in)

The timing of Lich’s arrest was oddly coincidental with a second freedom rally that was planned for Ottawa on Canada Day 2022.
Now, more than a year later, the Crown has since dropped the charge as a result of significant delays in her ongoing criminal trial that was originally set to span 16 days throughout September and October 2023.
Lich and co-accused Chris Barber continue to fight to clear their names of obstructing police, mischief, intimidation and counselling others to commit the same charges.
