In this clip from today's livestream, we looked at a social media video showing climate protesters adding their own poppy wreath to the Cenotaph in London for Remembrance Day.

Extinction Rebellion tweeted responsibility for the stunt, which included unfurling a banner, calling on the government to “honour the sacrifice of those who gave their lives is past wars by acting to prevent climate conflict.”

Here's a bit of what Ezra had to say, after showing the footage:

“There's the metaphor, climate change means war — no it doesn't, actually.

“And it certainly doesn't mean stepping over the wreaths for the war dead and putting your wreath above them all.”
