Fire the School Board!
To Education Minister Everett Hindley:
We, the undersigned parents and citizens, demand immediate action in response to the alarming revelations from Saskatchewan's Privacy Commissioner exposing Regina Public Schools’ deliberate attempts to undermine parental rights and conceal information.
The Commissioner’s report reveals Regina Public Schools actively collaborated with ideological activists to strategize against concerned parents. They attempted to bury evidence behind an unjustifiable $29,270 fee and bogus privilege claims — an effort the Commissioner explicitly condemned as “reckless.”
This conduct violates:
-
Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms – Parental rights
-
Saskatchewan Human Rights Code – Discrimination protections
-
Saskatchewan Education Act – Duties to families
-
SSBA Governance Standards – Transparency and respect
This board has lost public trust and can no longer serve our community with integrity.
Minister Hindley, we urge you to:
-
Immediately dissolve the Regina Public Schools board
-
Ensure transparency, accountability, and respect for parents’ rights in education
Parental rights matter. Secrecy and ideological indoctrination do not belong in Saskatchewan classrooms.
