Halifax city councillor Richard Zurawski wants the city to look at changing the “offensive names” on landmarks, from boulevards to a shopping mall.

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, we look at some of the offensive historic figures in Halifax's history, including Edward Cornwallis.

Zurawski, a former Green Party candidate, is neither black nor First Nations, but he's declaring what they should find offensive.

But if you’re going to start renaming landmarks and knocking down statues — if you’re going to go back 200 or 250 years and knock down people who don’t meet your standard of manners or customs in 2020 — you’re not going to have any history, at all.
