Move over, Joe Biden: Nomination rules don't matter to the Democratic leadership

Having previously worked to block Bernie Sanders from gaining the Democratic nomination, the Party knows that Joe Biden doesn't have what it takes to beat Trump.
So, they' have to find a strong enough running mate to either bolster his power, or to take over from him entirely.
