UCP MLA Joseph Schow crosses Unifor picket line for diesel, grills RCMP on illegal blockade
A local United Conservative MLA attended the front lines of the illegal Unifor blockade on Wednesday, where he promptly crossed the picket line to fill up a jug of diesel fuel. Joseph Schow, a backbench MLA for Jason Kenney said that he needed to get fuel, and he’s “not going to let these union thugs stop [him] from doing that.”

Schow also spoke with local RCMP to inquire why action was not being taken against the illegal blockade. The RCMP said that for now, they are just hanging around to ensure everyone stays safe.
