In 2021, Justin Trudeau and Steven Guilbeault unveiled the largest censorship plan in Canadian history which takes dead aim at ordinary citizens who critique Trudeau on social media platforms.

Canadian laws already prohibit terrorism, inciting violence, and other real crimes online. These new proposals invent a vague, new concept called “harm” — which Guilbeault has said includes insulting politicians and other political commentary.

On March 3, 2022, Heritage Minister Pablo Rodriguez also announced that he is implementing a new advisory group responsible for providing advice on a regulatory framework to address "unacceptable, hateful content" online.

So, we are calling on the Trudeau government to withdraw all censorship plans.
