Undoing the Greta Thunberg effect | Michelle Stirling with Sheila Gunn Reid

On a recent edition of The Gunn Show, Sheila Gunn Reid was joined by Michelle Stirling from Friends of Science to discuss the increasing anxiety children are experiencing as a result of constant exposure to extreme doom and gloom from far-left climate activists.

For example, when discussing one of the studies examining how kids felt about nature and the environment, Michelle explained some of the concerning results:

[The study] found that children as young as five are afraid of the world getting too hot. So you start to question, what have we inculcated in the very smallest children of this world but fear of the environment - and then [climate activists] wonder why they're afraid of going into nature.

Talking about the pressures children face when climate activists like Greta Thunberg - and subsequently their schools - are teaching young students that they are the only ones who can save the environment before time runs out (very soon, mind you), Michelle described the impact this "Greta Thunberg effect" has on kids:

I don't think that parents are really aware of the kind of influence that's going on in schools from these scaremongers, and I guess in one sense we can see that with the WE charity thing blowing up. People [are] finally [realizing]  wait a minute, our kids are being indoctrinated in schools by people with questionable motives — and that's what we see with the whole Greta Thunberg thing. Behind her are a group of green billionaires who are pushing carbon offset trading and she's like their walking native ad.
