Ontario parents petition for a coronavirus self-quarantine, but school board puts focus on preventing anti-Chinese racism
An online petition signed by more than 10,000 parents in York Region calls on the region's public school board to request students whose families have recently returned from China to stay at home and keep isolated for a minimum of 17 days for the purpose of self-quarantine.
