Unifor's Carseland Co-op protest drags on: Does Alberta need provincial police?

Jason Wilson is a conservative councilman in Wheatland County Alberta. He was the author of a viral motion passed by his Council calling on the provincial government to pass several Alberta First policies.

In that resolution Wilson and his Council colleagues called on Jason Kenney to create a Provincial Police force to replace the Trudeau loyal RCMP.

As we see here in Carseland, the RCMP are unwilling to act to defend business and personal interests of Albertans.

Although A judge has ordered the protesters to disband, the RCMP sit on the sidelines waiting, acting as no more than personal security for Unifor.

This is not the fault of the on the ground officers, after speaking with most of the officers assigned to the blockade, it is a matter of the upper levels of the command structure refusing to enforce the law.
