TAKE ACTION: Kill The Social Media Age ID Verification Bill

Fill in the form below in under 30 seconds to email your local Senators and local MP urging them to REJECT the proposed Social Media Age Verification Bill and defend our freedoms in Australia before it's too late!

We did it! Thanks to the 20,000+ Aussies who used this website to contact their local senators, the government's Orwellian Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation Bill is completely dead! It was a HUGE win for the people of this country as we showed the Anthony Albanese government that we weren't going to stand for radical censorship and government overreach!

... But while we've all been busy celebrating the victory, the government have been working overtime to rush through another piece of dangerous legislation that might even be worse! It could pave the way for a mandatory Digital ID and greater government control!

That's why we've set up another form on this website that allows Aussies to show our representatives once again that we're not going to stand for it!

This bill is not about the safety of our kids — it's about increased government control!

After a series of failed attempts to introduce divisive and overreaching policies, the Albanese government is now targeting our online freedoms with a proposed ban on under-16s accessing social media.

While the idea might sound appealing to some, particularly those worried about the safety of young Australians online, the real danger lies beneath the surface.

This bill is not just about protecting children; it’s a ‘Trojan horse’ for the introduction of a mandatory Digital ID system that will likely strip away the anonymity of everyone — not just for criminal or civil proceedings — but for every Australian online.

The social media ban — ostensibly designed to protect children from harmful content — raises many concerns. While some might support measures to limit social media use among teenagers, it is not the government’s job to dictate how parents raise their children.

Moreover, this bill opens the door to something far more sinister: a system that could require Australians to hand over personal data to tech companies for age verification.

The government’s plan to enforce this ban will likely necessitate collecting biometric data and other personal information — essentially paving the way for a mandatory Digital ID.

This Digital ID is not just a harmless tool; it could be the first step toward a Chinese-style social credit system that monitors and controls every aspect of your life.

This is why we must act now

We cannot allow our government to interfere in our daily lives and undermine the privacy and freedom that Australians hold dear. The legislation has not yet passed, but the government is pushing it through at an alarming pace, hoping to rush it through Parliament before there is any real debate or scrutiny.

With just a few hours of public hearings and no thorough inquiry into the broader implications, this bill could soon become law, affecting every Australian’s online identity.

What’s even more troubling is the government’s lack of transparency about how this bill will work in practice. We don’t know exactly what kind of personal data Australians will be forced to provide, nor how the technology will be implemented.

The government claims that “robust privacy protections” will be in place, but we’ve seen how effectively governments have protected our privacy in the past — this is not a guarantee we can trust.

The mainstream media is completely in on it

Worse still, the media’s role in this is to push the narrative that social media is inherently harmful and that the government must act to protect the public from the dangers of the internet. In reality, these claims are being used to justify increased censorship and control over online discourse. The true aim is not the safety of children but the silencing of dissent and the consolidation of power within the hands of the government, their lackeys in the media and approved corporations.

The introduction of a mandatory Digital ID, paired with the loss of online anonymity, poses a grave threat to the freedoms and rights of every Australian. The risk of exclusion from the internet — based on government-imposed restrictions — could soon become a reality. This bill is just the beginning. If we allow this to pass, there’s no telling how far it could go.

This is why we’re calling on every Australian to raise their voice.

We’ve successfully fought back against government overreach before — together, we can do it again

Let them know you won’t stand for more government control and that you won’t let them sacrifice your rights under the guise of “safety.” Our forefathers fought for freedom, and it’s time we stand up to protect it.

The time to act is now. Don’t let the government’s latest power grab succeed. Let’s Kill the Bill, before it’s too late.

Politicians may believe that they would never misuse the powers they are granting themselves. However, can they guarantee that this will remain the same in the future. The Nazi Government in Germany used IBM to keep track of Jews in their territories.
    Let’s not take the risk.
