Throughout this pandemic, press conferences have been moved to the phone lines. It's a recipe for disaster for journalistic freedom, as government executives can easily manipulate the call operator into silencing their opposition. Both Justin Trudeau and Doug Ford were caught using partisan staff to filter questions.
Until today, Rebel News hasn't been able to get a single question in to politicians unless we met them in person. Today Jason Kenney stood out as the only politician in Canada brave enough to take an actually tough question.
In fact, he took two. One on the unfair arrest of a protest while thousands of radicals gathered city centres. The other was about a communist that has infiltrated the legislative press circles.
