Last Friday, the Indiana Fever was back in Toronto to play the Toronto Tempo, this time at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.

The Indiana franchise is known for two things: Caitlin Clark, who is perhaps the league’s best player. And Sophie Cunningham, who has bravely taken a stand against radical transgenderism – you know, this bizarre business of males pretending to be females so that they can invade women’s safe spaces including the realm of female sports.

Astonishingly, both the commissioner of the WNBA and the head of its players’ association – both of whom are female – cannot define the word “woman”. Apparently the “W” in WNBA stands for “woke”, not “Women’s”.

We brought along our big, beautiful billboard truck with us. The reason: to take a stand in terms of the importance of keeping female sports female.

Now, who would be against such a commons sense message like that, you may ask? Well, that would be none other than the woke-joke Toronto Police Service. Seven cops descended on our truck last month at the Scotiabank Arena which was then hosting the Fever vs. Tempo game.

Not only was our truck driver, Mark, served with bogus tickets, he was wrongly ordered to turn the pro-female billboard messaging off! Talk about censorious thugs. But the belligerent brass at the TPS is all-in when it comes to radical transgenderism. Do you know all Toronto cops have to pass a transgender test, the overall theme being “if it’s trans its good and if it’s good it’s trans”? Oh, it’s true…

And truthfully, we were playing with fire last Friday. As luck would have it, the Coca-Cola Coliseum is situated right next door to the Horse Palace. The Horse Palace is home to the Toronto Police Service’s Mounted Unit. Astute viewers no doubt recall that the mounted unit is used for very important police work – such as shutting down illicit restaurants during pandemics...

As it turned out, Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw didn’t sic all the king’s horses and all the king’s men on us. Then again, he didn’t have to. This time we were harassed by Exhibition Place security guards. And get this: they lied to us! They said the streets running through Exhibition Place are private property. Turns out that’s a blatant falsehood.

In any event, before we were left, we did scrum basketball fans if they were open to men playing in the WNBA. The good news: the overwhelming answer was a firm no. But for many fans, they were simply too terrified to weigh-in on this question, deeming it to be too “political”. (We would argue this issue is not a matter of politics, but rather, biology.)

In any event, to witness such cowardice is profoundly sad…
