Gender critical feminist dismissed from role at U of Alberta: Ezra Levant with Prof. Kathleen Lowrey
On a recent episode of The Ezra Levant Show, Kathleen Lowrey, an associate professor of anthropology at the University of Alberta, says she was dismissed from one of her roles at the college for raising concerns that biological sex is being treated as “irrelevant” when it comes to public policy.
“What's happened since then, what's happened with all the publicity around this is there's a kind of burgeoning round two... once this was in the news, colleagues, students and particularly student journalists from the University of Alberta Gateway newspaper, started combing through my social media history.
“So, I always comment on social media under my real name, and particularly they've combed through my social media history on a site called Spinster, [which is like a] gender critical, feminist Twitter.”
Professor Lowrey calls in to talk about her views on gender identity and her treatment by U of A.
