Canadians are increasingly concerned that ideological global agendas are driving an aggressive push to abandon our reliable fossil-fuel energy system in favour of an untested, costly, and uneven transition to so-called “green” and “renewable” energy.

This rapid shift is being advanced without transparent debate, without a clear cost–benefit analysis, and without due consideration for the real-world consequences for families, businesses, and essential industries. For many Canadians, these policies are unneeded, unwanted, unaffordable, and ultimately unacceptable.

We call on you to pursue a balanced, pragmatic, and evidence-based energy strategy — one that protects jobs, national competitiveness, and energy security while respecting the financial realities faced by Canadian households.
