The Rebel in Iraq: Demographics throw future of Middle East Christians into doubt
Erbil, Iraq, a once-bustling city, is rebuilding after years of ISIS attacks. It is also home to thousands of Christians who fled there to escape Islamic persecution.
This region was once majority Christian, a community that survived for a thousand years.
Now that Christians are a minority here, their chances for survival are low.
They have no real allies. Even the Pope speaks more about Muslim refugees than Christian ones.
That's why The Rebel came to Iraq:
To provide humanitarian aid to these neglected Christians, and to tell their story through a world-class documentary.

I guess the Christians in Israel are liars too.
“Politically, Christians agree with Muslims in saying Israel cannot be a democracy and a Jewish state at the same time. About seven-in-ten Christians (72%) and 63% of Muslims take this view. Israeli Christians have political views similar to those of their fellow Arabs on several other issues as well. For example, majorities of Christians (80%) and Muslims (72%) say the Israeli government is not making a sincere effort to achieve a peace agreement with the Palestinians, and most Christians (79%) and Muslims (61%) in Israel also say the continued building of Jewish settlements in the West Bank hurts Israel’s security. And Israeli Christians (86%) and Muslims (75%) both overwhelmingly say the U.S. is too supportive of Israel.”

“Ayan Ray Israel can do as it wants , filthy bigots like you have no say.”
“Ayan Ray, Taqiyya not welcome or appreciated. Go away.”
Does the truth hurt?
“EL: Now that Christians are a minority here, their chances for survival are low.”
Hyping up fear again.
“We were fearful in the ’80s. We were feeling the pressure. Now, we are not concerned anymore. We feel secure and enjoy freedoms,” said Mahvash Kohan, a female Jewish pilgrim who came to Yazd from Shiraz. “In the past, Israel and others were providing incentives such as housing that lured some Jews. Now, it’s not like that. And Iranian Jews have better living and working conditions in Iran. So, no one is willing to leave now.”

Bravo Zulu commented 2017-07-21 18:34:52 -0400As I have stated many times – the west has no exit plan.
Traditional enemies of the west are our temporary friends as they receive cash, weapons, ammunition, explosives and training from the west. Including Canada.
Your tax dollars helped kill many thousands of Christians, as not only isis did this – so did many western backed islamic groups – but you were never told – at least not officially – it is an open secret.
Most Canadians do not care anyways.
And THAT is a true statement – otherwise they would be speaking up about it. And they will not speak up about it because even those who do know, do not care.
As long as it does not affect their personal lives, no problem.
It is a big but not so quiet secret.
Remember – islam is allowed in to Canada.
Christians are DENIED.
Left to be killed as the west desires – even the Pope is not helping but that is another story for another time.
When this western assistance stops, the Christian massacre begins again.
And if the west manages to topple Assad – the only leader left in the mid east outside of Israel that PROTECTS Christians – it will become a true genocide – all ignored by the western media and in my opinion:
“ENCOURAGED BY TRUDEAU AND HIS EVIL ADVISORS.” -

Jan G commented 2017-07-20 22:39:49 -0400Thank you Ezra for bringing this. As a Catholic I appreciate what you are doing.
It certainly demonstrates how resilient the Middle East Christians are and explains why they will refuse, even when faced with death, to renounce their faith. Whimpy Canadians and Americans have no clue and can, hopefully, learn from the example of these faithful and brave Christians.
Unfortunately, the rest of the world is doing everything possible to wipe out Christianity by simply standing back and watching it be attacked. But Christianity has survived every attacked; it will survive this. -
Bill Elder commented 2017-07-20 20:08:09 -0400This part of the world is defined by its long and ancient history of invasions, cultural genocides and religious strife – Egyptian empire, Canaanites, Israelite’s,Philistines, Hittites, Chaldeans, Phoneticians, Assyrians, Babylon, Rome, Islam, , Zionists – all have displaced indigenous cultures/religions/cultures — It’s almost a force of nature in the region – to think we can change 4 millennia of regional strife is really quite arrogant. -
Charles White commented 2017-07-20 19:04:50 -0400Demographics is against religious Christianity and cultural Christianity in the West as well. Difference is that in the Middle East Christians live their religion and culture and die for it. In the west regressive elitists like Baby Doc work to destroy from within in order to make the conquest easy. -
Andrew Mirlach commented 2017-07-20 18:12:11 -0400Trump’s reversal of Obama’s morally reprehensible anti Christian refugee program is likely their only hope. Forget about Canada, our Potato in Chief is unlikely to help people who wouldn’t vote Liberal. -
