Canada's immigration department 'forgave' over 17,500 foreigners' criminal convictions over 11-year span
New reporting from the Globe and Mail shows that over 17,500 foreigners had their criminal convictions 'forgiven' by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada over an 11-year time frame.
