PETITION: Canada Stands With Israel!
To: The Right Honourable Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada, Members of Parliament, and Provincial Premiers
We, the undersigned Canadians, urge our government to stand unequivocally with Israel in the wake of the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre, and to take tangible action at home to confront terrorism and antisemitism.
We Demand Canada Take Action
1. Official Declaration:
Canada must formally recognize October 7 as an act of terrorism — a campaign of genocide and hate — and refrain from using terminology that sanitizes or minimizes this atrocity.
2. Strengthened Support for Israel:
Provide Israel with immediate and concrete assistance, including humanitarian aid, emergency medical supplies, and political backing in international forums.
3. National Cabinet Unity:
We call on Prime Minister Mark Carney and provincial premiers to issue a united, unequivocal statement of solidarity with Israel — reflecting moral leadership and the values Canadians hold dear.
4. Combat Antisemitism at Home:
Launch a federal task force to monitor and challenge antisemitic incidents on Canadian campuses and public spaces. Enforce existing laws that prohibit hate speech and discrimination.
5. Sanction Terrorist Supporters:
Ban or revoke charitable status, freeze assets, and, where legally permissible, deport individuals or groups within Canada who publicly support or facilitate Hamas and other designated terrorist organizations.

On October 7, Hamas terrorists launched a brutal attack on Israel, killing over 1,200 civilians — which included women, children, and the elderly — in the most horrific slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust. These atrocities were broadcast live and unashamedly on social media. What took place was not a war, but a calculated act of terror.
At the same time, Canadian streets have echoed with pro-Hamas rhetoric and antisemitic sentiment — some even within our universities and communities. This is unacceptable.
