This is it. The last call.

From November 28 to December 5, we're sailing the Eastern Caribbean for seven days and nights on The News Cruise. If you've been thinking about it, now is the time to book.

Some of you have sailed with us before, in the Caribbean and in Alaska, so you already know what I'm about to say. Those weeks have been some of the happiest of my career. Not because of the beaches, although they're pretty great. It's the people around the table. Many of us have been seeing each other year after year. We've become real friends, and we met on these ships.

This year, for the first time ever, Rebel News and Juno News are sailing together. Two newsrooms, one ship. And here's the part that makes it work: every night, our speakers rotate dinner tables. By the end of the week, you won't have watched us from across the room. You'll have had a real conversation with every one of us.

When the ship is at sea, we hold seminars and panel discussions. You'll spend an evening with John Carpay, a constitutional lawyer who has spent years in court defending pastors, protesters and ordinary Canadians. You'll come away understanding exactly how the law is supposed to protect you, and how to fight back when it doesn't.

David Menzies is coming too. He's been arrested and thrown out of more places than any journalist in Canada. I shouldn't laugh, but he's still the funniest guy I know, and he'll tell you about the stories behind the stories, the ones that never made it to air.

And one of my favourite people, Alexa Lavoie, will be on board. She has stood on the front lines of Quebec's most dangerous protests and taken more than one hit for her reporting. She's fearless, she's warm, and she'll show you what's really happening on Canada's streets.

As for me, this is the one week a year when I'm not running off anywhere. Nobody's on deadline. We're all on the boat together, so we can finally relax and talk heart to heart.

When we're in port, you're free to go ashore and have fun. Every night, we have dinner together.

Every Rebel cruise we've ever run has sold out, and with Juno News on board, this one is going faster than ever. So if you want to come, reserve your cabin today at TheNewsCruise.com.

I look forward to seeing you at dinner.
