Police in Melbourne CONFUSED about their own directives

Last Friday, I joined the lockdown protest in Melbourne a day after Victoria Police declared it legal.

In his press conference on October 22nd, Assistant Commissioner Luke Cornelius stated: "protests are a human right".

Mr Cornelius previously declared protests unlawful.

The sudden change of stance came amid our Supreme Court challenge into the implied constitutional right to freedom of political communication.

When I questioned a senior officer and the media unit at the protest about the sudden change, neither could adequately answer.

The Supreme Court proposed November 17th for the final hearing.

At the directions hearing yesterday, the state asked for more time to prepare their evidence for their case.

The Supreme Court settled on 7th and 8th of December for a final hearing.

The next directions hearing is set for November 12th.

Unlike the September 5th protest, police treated our Rebel News team with respect on Friday.

This welcomed shift comes as their unlawful arrest on September 5th is also before the supreme court.

Both lawsuits are already showing considerable returns even though they are only in their early stages.

Today we've started a petition to have the State of Emergency in Victoria lifted immediately
