Earlier in the day, Commissioner Paul Rouleau delivered the final report on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's invocation of the Emergencies Act in response to the Freedom Convoy protest.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the commissioner was chosen by Trudeau, Rouleau found the Trudeau government's actions were “justified” and the “very high threshold” to invoke the act was met.

Trudeau will deliver his response to the Public Order Emergency Commission's findings at 3 p.m. ET (1 p.m. MT), and following Sheila Gunn Reid and Drea Humphrey will have live reactions to both Rouleau's previous comments and Trudeau's remarks as well.
