Bruce Atchison commented 2025-11-14 19:43:40 -0500Whatever the cause of the ostriches dying last December, the whole stamping out strategy shows how uncaring and hidebound the CFIA is. That department needs a thorough purging.

Carl Linletter commented 2025-11-14 17:36:09 -0500As I recall, it was a PCR test that showed positive for bird flu. Here is an interesting article you might like to look at. Maybe the whole thing was bogus to begin with and the birds died from something else.
