Today, we're looking at the fallout from the Liberals narrowly passing Budget 2025 with a 170-168 vote in the House of Commons, which saw four MPs — two Conservatives and two NDP — abstain from voting on the matter. 

Plus, Mark Carney was in attendance at the Grey Cup in Winnipeg, where he was greeted with a resounding chorus of boos from football fans. We'll also look at some of the more subtle connections between Carney, Brookfield and the big game's sponsors.

And finally, new research suggests violent crime is on the rise across Canada. Will the Liberals finally take action to address issues with violent offenders being released back onto the streets?
