SHOCKING: Youths brandish knife, spray unknown substance while driving through public park

A video posted to social media showcased brazen criminal behaviour, with the individuals filming themselves brandishing a knife and spraying an unknown substance while driving through a Hamilton park where parents and children were playing.

A video originally uploaded on Monday, September 14 to an anonymous Instagram account shows a group of youths driving through Burkholder Park in Hamilton, Ontario, in broad daylight — while a passenger appears to discharge what looks like pepper spray out the car window while another brandishes a knife.

Chris Goodwin, a Hamilton parent, identified the location in a reply, noting his "kids have played at this park." Burkholder Park is located beside Timothy Christian School.

Those recording the video appeared to be targeting another individual at the park, while families with young children can be seen fleeing the scene.

The clip, posted on social media, had drawn more than 375,000 views, roughly 6,300 likes and nearly 2,100 reposts within hours of going up Tuesday evening on X.

City records confirm the park sits in Hamilton's Ward 7, with a playground and walking path; the school is across the street on the same residential stretch.

"My kids have played at this park. This makes me very angry," Goodwin wrote, sharing a Google Maps link pinning the site.

Three additional clips also posted by the same social media account show a person shooting at a house at night with what sounds like a pellet gun; two others, dated to November 2025, appear to show physical assaults near Lime Ridge Mall and in a parking lot, one involving a baton.

Rebel News has not independently verified the account's identity, the date or exact circumstances of each clip, or the ages of those involved, and none of the incidents has been confirmed by the Hamilton Police Service at time of writing.

It is not yet known whether police have opened an investigation into the Burkholder Park video specifically. Given the location — a public playground directly beside an elementary school — residents are pressing for a response.

Rebel News has reached out to Hamilton police for comment and will update this story with any confirmation of charges, an investigation, or a statement.

Commenters on X reacted in outrage at the implications of deadly conduct to the public seen inside the distressing clip.

Former MP Kevin Vuong commented, “Local police will track them down.”, while a Bitcoin podcaster named Joey remarked at the hypocrisy of authorities and politicians condemning a recent Dominion Society event for its remigration rhetoric while no statements were issued for authentic criminal behaviour endangering children.

Hamilton police had earlier posted on August 27 calling for members of the public to contact the authorities in an effort to cancel the Canadian nationalist group, drawing condemnation from across the country as an attack on free speech and lawful gatherings.

Within an hour of publishing the video onto X, the original Instagram account took down the post with the incriminating acts.

PETITION: Fix Our Cities!

26,360 signatures
Goal: 40,000 signatures

Canada's urban centres are spiraling into decay and chaos, with rampant crime, open drug use, and rising poverty turning once-desirable cities into places of fear. From violent knife attacks on Toronto’s public transit to open-air drug markets in Vancouver, these cities are becoming unrecognizable and unsafe, especially for families. Homeless encampments now dominate public parks and playgrounds, where drug paraphernalia litters spaces meant for children. And it’s not just Toronto and Vancouver — cities across the country are suffering as law and order give way to failed progressive policies. Sign our petition and follow our reporters as we investigate the true causes behind this urban decay and reveal what the mainstream media won’t.
