Let’s send Sportsnet and Ron MacLean a message!
At the time of writing, almost 88,000 of you had signed our petition at SupportDonCherry.com. That’s awesome, but it would be even better if we could reach 100,000 signatures in the next 24 hours!
On Tuesday, we’ll be delivering our petition to Sportsnet and MacLean. We’re even going to drop off a copy to Grapes himself, just to let him now that so many Canadians find his dismissal downright disgraceful.
So, if you want to support Don and you haven’t signed our petition, go for it! Take a stand against “cancel culture.”

People are craving straight talk and the left pearl clutchers shining the spotlight onto Don Cherry’s shoot from the hip style of commentary, has made people realize just how much they crave it, and how important straight talk is to the well being of a healthy society. Look at the sickness of heart and depravity that has grown like mould in the cities of our country since the gavel came down in 2015. The decline has been staggering. Damn straight Don Cherry will have a huge following. I am so grateful that he didn’t throw in the towel, it would have been a loss for the True North Strong and Free, and a huge win for those trying to quell, subjugate and turn us into a post national state. This culture war is no small thing. We need more Don Cherry, and people need to find their voice again and speak the truth about what they see happening to our home. They are the ones who need shaming.
“A podcast, anyway, lol.”
You are dissing a podcast Andrew? You are such a miserable little person, shitting on everything your bully buddies can’t control. Just wait until you see the numbers. Sure Sportsnet has the games and the viewership for those games , but people will follow Grapes to listen to’
Not dissing podcasts, some have found great success through the medium, but it’s not nearly as glamorous as Coach’s Corner was.
I suspect Cherry will get some listeners, initially, mostly those who are virtue-signaling against the Big Bad MSM. The question of what happens over the long term, deprived of that marquee spot, is more mixed. The demographics of people that listen to podcasts on Spotify at work doesn’t seem like it would overlap with those who care about Cherry.
Incidentally, by most reports Sportsnet didn’t have the viewership Rogers wanted, and the NHL deal is a bit of an albatross unless a bunch of teams make the playoffs. They were probably already looking for a reason to unload Cherry anyway.
But I would hardly describe his controversial remarks as a rant .Nor would I describe them as xenophobic..
But even placing passive obligations on newcomers to our country is verboten.
And that’s why going forward we won’t have a culture ,a society and eventually a country.

Sure Sportsnet has the games and the viewership for those games , but people will follow Grapes to listen to the hockey talk. Is McLean still doing some version of coaches corner? He shouldn’t bother. The point is Canada didn’t bow down to the Toronto bullies. Its a win.
Well lookie here John Wick. Grapes has a new show.”
A podcast, anyway, lol. How many washed-up media personalities have podcasts now? There’s literally no barrier to entry.

John, it doesn’t matter whether they give a fck or not. That is not the point of the exercise. But I’m not surprised it goes over your head.
Just like Tim Hortons didn’t and many other Rebel boycotts. It will go into the shredder as soon as possible and won’t change a thing. Way to go. You told them.
I have not always agreed with his opinion, but that’s OK because he is allowed to have an opinion just as I am. But on this one instance I fully support what he said. I have said the same thing to my children and my grand children when they have asked me why I wear a Poppy long before and after remembrance day.
Also one more point; I just wonder what Don’s wife thinks about her husband being called a misogynist? Additionally I am sure his deceased wife would have an opinion on that as well. I would not be surprised if she is haunting Jesse Allen as we speak.
I will send a challenge to all hockey fans and parents to wear a Poppy to the rest of the hockey games for the remainder of the year. Not just for Don, but for all the valiant men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice by giving their life, or letting their child give their lives to preserve the very freedom we have on of which is the freedom of speech to share our opinion.
