Speaking about the mainstream media's twisted coverage of the event— and about what really happened, Matt said:

For the media... to just label it as "anti-vaxx," "ambulance blockers," it's just— not only is it inaccurate, it's just so irresponsible, because it creates such division where people are afraid of each other, people are afraid to go up to people who maybe have differing opinions and have a civil discourse— it's really just sowing such dissent into the fabric of our society, and it's a shame.
