Hey folks, since we’re now into the month of March, I thought I’d bring you an update regarding our lawsuit against the York Regional Police Service.

As you may recall, this legal action stemmed from an incident back in January when I visited Vaughan, Ont., to scrum ex-Don Cherry sidekick, Ron MacLean at a taping of Rogers Hometown Hockey.

But a funny thing happened en route to scrumming Ron – several members of the York Regional Police physically assaulted me for having the temerity to… practice journalism! 

In the aftermath, we decided that enough is enough and brought a lawsuit against the York Regional Police Service.
