David Menzies breaks down Patrick Brown's first interview after being caught without a mask

On yesterday's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, reporter and host of Rebel Roundup, David "The Menzoid" Menzies stepped in to cover for the vacationing Ezra Levant.

The timing couldn't have been better, as David had the opportunity to breakdown an interview Patrick Brown gave to Toronto-based radio station Newstalk 1010 after he was caught inside a Brampton recreation centre without a mask on.

And we all know how strict Brampton is when it comes to following the bylaws enacted by Mayor Brown.

In his defence, Mayor Brown told Newstalk:

All indoor public settings you have to wear a mask. So when I'm in an indoor public setting I always wear a mask. But in private rentals you're not required to. And so [Rebel News] didn't check with our mask bylaw.

That seems a little bit contradictory to some actions that the city has taken, as David points out:

We did reach out to Brampton bylaw via our lawyer, someone who archived the bylaws before and after our encounter with Brown. As I previously mentioned, the bylaw website was changed after the video aired to make Brown's former illicit activity completely kosher.

Wonder why the Guardian didn't report that?

This clip is just a snippet from a full episode of The Ezra Levant Show.
