Premier Scott Moe vowed to protect the privacy and dignity of girls in Saskatchewan schools by prohibiting boys from entering girls’ change rooms — a commitment he called his first order of business after re-election. Yet, only two weeks into his new term, Moe is backing down from this promise.

Rather than fulfilling his pledge, Moe is now leaving this responsibility to school boards, many of which have dismissed or even labeled parents' concerns as "hateful." This reversal empowers those who oppose the values Saskatchewan parents stand for, compromising the privacy and security of young girls.

Premier Moe, your mandate was clear: stand up for parents and protect the safety and dignity of girls in schools. We call on you to keep your promise, defend parental rights, and ensure safe spaces for all students.
