Support Free Speech!

A Canadian Member of Parliament was just barred from speaking at York University — not by a court, not by police, but by campus gatekeepers who think they can decide which ideas are allowed to be heard. That’s why Rebel News is rolling out our Free Speech Truck to York: a moving digital billboard that can’t be “no-platformed,” backed by boots-on-the-ground reporting from David Menzies, and a street-level flyer and petition campaign to rally students and Canadians who are sick of political censorship disguised as “safety.”

The Charter guarantees freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression — but that promise is meaningless if it evaporates the moment you step onto a university campus. If an elected representative can be censored at a public institution, what chance does an ordinary student have to speak openly without fear of being reported, disciplined, or harassed into silence? Universities are supposed to be marketplaces of ideas, not gated speech zones controlled by politicized unions, activists, or administrators who reward conformity and punish dissent.

Goal: 10,000 signatures

Canadian universities are increasingly allowing activist gatekeepers and bureaucratic policies to silence lawful speech, punish dissent, and block invited speakers. We call on federal and provincial ministers — and university administrators — to strengthen free speech policies, ban viewpoint discrimination, and tie public funding to real, enforceable protections for lawful expression on campus. If you agree, sign the petition now!

Please donate to keep our truck deployed — the longer it stays on the road, the harder it is for campus censors to pretend this isn’t happening.

Please donate to help us keep our Free Speech Truck on the road!

Rebel News is putting real resources behind this fight — because the censors already have institutions, budgets, and bureaucracy on their side. Our Free Speech Truck costs money to run every day: fuel, maintenance, insurance, permits, digital signage operations, and the driver and logistics needed to keep it deployed on campus and in the public eye. We’re also taking security seriously: we need a bodyguard to help protect David Menzies and our team, and to protect the truck itself from harassment, vandalism, or escalation from activists who don’t want Canadians to see the truth.

Your donation helps keep the truck moving, keeps our journalist safe, keeps our cameras recording, and helps us defend ourselves if there are attempts to bury this campaign in red tape or lawsuits.
