CRAZY: Mark Carney appointed two Hamas supporters to his council on antisemitism

Mark Carney gave a speech about the antisemitic crime wave in Canada — but he refused to do anything about it.

• He won’t expel the hundreds of Iranian agents operating in Canada.
• He won’t use the RCMP and CSIS to fight the pro-Hamas street gangs literally shooting at schools and synagogues.
• He won’t screen new immigrants for bigoted views.
• And he won’t stop his near-daily condemnations of Israel.

He’ll do nothing — other than setting up a council to study antisemitism. As if that’s all we’re missing is another study.

But you’re not going to believe this council that he announced.

It has one Jew on it — a loyal Liberal Senator named Marc Gold who would never criticize Carney.

But Carney has literally appointed two antisemites to his council. This is nuts.

Let me tell you who these two men are. You’re not going to believe this.

The first is Omar Alghabra. He used to be the head of the Canadian Arab Federation — which had their government funding cut off because they were too antisemitic. Alghabra personally lobbied the Canadian government to legalize Hamas and Hezbollah. He wanted them removed from the list of terrorist groups.

He regularly wears a Palestinian “keffiyeh”, he’s a supporter of boycotting and sanctioning Israel and he socializes with notorious Holocaust deniers. I’m not saying it’s illegal to be an antisemitic maniac. It’s just bizarre that Mark Carney would appoint him to the council that’s supposed to be against antisemitism.

The second antisemite is a radical lawyer named Avnish Nanda, who specializes in representing Islamists and antisemites. One of his cases was just atrocious: you might remember that pro-Hamas extremists set up an illegal encampment at the University of Alberta, designed to humiliate and intimidate Jewish students and staff. When the university tried to clear away those hateful trespassers, Nanda sued the university, trying to stop them from removing them.

It’s hard to believe Carney appointed him to the council looking into antisemitism. Alghabra and Nanda are definitely experts in antisemitism, but not in a good way.

We can’t let this slide.

We’ve got to demand that Carney fire the two Liberal antisemites from this council.
