We're going back to Britain to cover the migrant crisis

Protests are growing across the United Kingdom as ordinary Britons confront their government over illegal Channel crossings, migrant hotels and the impact of mass immigration on their communities.

This weekend, Rebel News is sending our Quebec Bureau Chief Alexa Lavoie back to the UK to report from the ground.

Alexa will be there as protesters take to the streets, speaking directly with local residents, demonstrators, police, public officials and anyone else willing to talk. We want to show you what's actually happening — without relying on government statements or the filtered coverage of the legacy media.

Alexa has reported from Britain before, investigating migrant hotels, speaking with protesters and documenting the country's growing debate over immigration. Now she's going back as tensions over the migrant crisis continue to rise.

This page is your home for our coverage. As Alexa's new reports are published, they'll appear below alongside our previous investigations from across the United Kingdom.

Sending a journalist overseas on short notice isn't cheap. Your contributions help us cover Alexa's flights, accommodations, local transportation and production expenses so she can be on the ground asking the questions that need to be asked.

Thank you for helping us report stories others won't.
